Red List Plates

 

Made from bone china, glaze decals and silver lustre, the Red List Plates depict images of the Capercaillie, a ‘Red List’ species in the UK that is currently at a very real risk of extinction. The plates are made using the same materials as traditional ornamental decorative plates, re-purposing images sourced from online auction listings of taxidermied Capercaillies.
